Connolly Land & Developments Ltd was established by Alan Connolly in 2008 during the downturn in the UK property market. Using our in-house experience, we maximised the potential to consult on Land Acquisition whilst locating suitable viable land opportunities for a range of clients.

An additional office in Corby, Northants, was opened in 2015, serving the South Midlands. The business is a truly family affair, with David (Alan’s father) managing this division of the expanding company.

Not only do we specialise in Residential Development, but also in developing large scale solar PV farms. We developed the first ever solar farm in the UK, and subsequently developed and successfully commissioned some of the UK’s largest, developing and building out over 350MW to date. We work in partnership with one of the UK’s leading Large Scale Solar PV development companies.

Alan has over 14 years’ experience in the property sector, being a qualified Land Buyer and Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor in Residential Development. Before setting up Connolly Land & Developments Ltd, Alan worked within land teams with two National House Builders.

David is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors specialising in Planning and Development. Formerly Director and Group Land Director with many national housebuilding companies, David has over 40 years' experience primarily within residential development and ancillary mixed use schemes.
